2 Year Check-Up

Just a quick update, Autumn had a 2 year check up appointment on Friday and everything went great.  She is now 26 pounds and 33 inches tall.  She cried the entire time almost, I think she doesn't like being naked in there, my modest little one, haha.  I am so happy that she is doing well, it's amazing to watch her grow, and an honor to parent her.  She sings all of her ABC's and does the entire ABC puzzle, she counts to 15 and has a great memory if we show her something, she usually remembers where or what it is.  She likes to share (pic above is her sharing her fake cupcakes with me while playing tea-set), asks us to dance with her and plays so well with other kiddos.  She is in a little hitting phase so we have some discipline going on, but its expected :)  She is in a big girl bed and goes to school, OMG she is growing up so fast!  Oh yeah, and melt my heart, today she asked for a hug....baby girl, you NEVER have to ask!  We love you!

Almost 2

Little Miss Autumn is going to a preschool summer camp 3 days a week starting next Monday.  She is soooo ready and I can tell she craves more knowledge and socialization, she is so inquisitive.  My little one is getting so big and I am doing my best to document every moment (lots of sticky notes!).  We went to visit a few places to check them out and this place was beyond perfect and has the word "Rainbow" in its name, how much more perfect could it be?  She will be playing pretty much on a farm as they have animals and gardens, pools, pony rides and lots of playgrounds.  The people there do not know our story and I did not tell them (yet), and regardless they just treated us with just the sweetest embrace and made me feel so comfortable, and that they really do care about each child (not that other places don't, this was just a feeling I had).  When we left this place after signing up, I couldn't help but break down and cry.  How bittersweet, how very bittersweet.  I love you Autumn xoxoxo

I cannot believe she will be 2 in one month.  The time is flying, and I know its because we are having fun.  She falls down and says "baby down".  She says please and thank you.  She gives kisses kisses kisses and holds your cheeks while she does it.  She says I love you.  She loves to play airplane and spin around and go outside.  She loves to wear tutus and I love to make them.  She knows just about every Disney and Sprout cartoon tv character and loves to sing all the classic songs like twinkle twinkle, abc's, old macdonald, etc.  When looking for something she yells out "where are you!".   She shows a bit of a temper and hits me, then says sorry mommy or ouch (we are working on this!).  There is so much more to share.  All in all she amazes me.  Learning and growing with her is my honor.  She will always know how much her Dad and I love her.  Here are some pictures, and I hope to update more before her birthday, which I think will be a Winnie the Pooh theme - she loves all of the Pooh characters!  xoxoxo Nan

Thankful

Have I ever said how incredibly thankful I am for my sweet earthly adorable daughter?! She amazes me every single day as I watch her grow and learn. I am in total awe of her and miss her so much during the day. I do love the greeting I now get when I get home, she is usually at the door saying 'hi mummy' over and over and smiling so big, then gives me a great big leg hug! We have our nightly routine of eat dinner, playing, then reading then jammies and some snuggle time and drift off to sleep. I am so grateful for this miracle and feel so privileged to be her mommy. Autumn I love you more than life itself!!! xxxooo More pics to come!!!

It's been a long time since I've come here...thank you for stopping in to read if you still do! I am just going to post the latest picture links on this post and update more of her milestones soon! All in all she is a beautiful little girl who has been battling ear infections and a virus since Christmas, but she is finally getting over all of that I think (I hope!). A few of my favorite things she says are please, nite-nite, bye-bye, hello (more like ha-woah), baby, ball, Dada, Mama and mooooo! She gives Daddy high-fives and me a kiss bye-bye in the morning when I leave for work, it's too sweet! She loves piggy back rides and playing airplane. Her eating and sleeping habits haven't been great, but we are working on it, plus being sick hasn't helped her. I love this little blessing and I'm so grateful for her :) Enjoy...!!!

>I am a Mom to triplet angel girls born too soon on March 6, 2009.
